We are Alexa and Brittany — two Pennsylvania natives who grew up just twenty minutes apart but didn’t meet until a decade ago. We both had a love for horses at an early age and it continues be a part of our lives every day.
Alexa established herself as a valued member of very successful equine business and has always been a fierce competitor in the equestrian world herself. Brittany had a ten year career at Amazon as a Senior Project Manager over Amazon rapid network expansion. Staying involved with her lifelong passion for horses during her business career was integrel to her successful career.
A small business owner’s entrepreneurial spirit is often driven by the love for what they do. We both have experienced and understand the challenges of balancing a passion for your business and making good financial decisions. We know firsthand how easy it is to get caught up in the day-to-day while losing sight of long-term goals and growth.
Out of this friendship, and shared perspective, New Gait Consulting was born. We saw firsthand how many equestrians and small business owners treat their ventures only as a means to reach personal goals, rather than as profitable entities with long-term potential. Our mission is to change that by helping business owners see their work as more than just a passion — but as a sustainable, thriving business.
With experience spanning the equestrian and contracting industries, along with backgrounds in consulting, operations, and financial strategy, we bring a balance of discipline and big-picture thinking to every client we serve. From bookkeeping, tax strategies, and budgeting to bill pay, email management, and scheduling, we provide the systems and structure that free business owners to focus on what they do best.
